We'll send everything to the DFA Passport Office. If approved, you'll get your passport in the post

When will you need a witness?
For any Irish passport APS2 application, you’ll need a witness to confirm your identity by signing your form and two of your four passport photos.
This person may be contacted to confirm the validity of their signature. Please check they’re happy to be contacted before you start the application. Read further guidance on application witnesses.
Tips for filling out your application form
Getting it right first time
- Use a black ballpoint pen and write in capitals
- Bring originals of your supporting documents and not photocopies. Also, don't forget your four photos (two of them signed)
- Stay within the white boxes and keep your signature within the border

The Paper Accept & Send service cost £11.00 with Post Office. This fee is on top of what you have to pay the DFA for your passport and includes a delivery fee to send your documents to the DFA.
